Operating out of the legendary Reflexions Gym, Blackstone Grappling is part of a community built on discipline, dedication, and serious training. Sharing the facility with the respected Keddles Gym combat team, we provide a raw, no-nonsense atmosphere for those pursuing real results. Our team consists of practitioners of all ages and all levels, helping students build health, resilience, and significant confidence on and off the mats.

Head Coach / 1st Degree Black Belt
Founder of the Mat Masters Competition and a prominent Head Referee in the UK. As a 1st Degree Black Belt under Valmyr Neto, he represents Checkmat and the prestigious Ricardo Vieira lineage. A decorated competitor with major titles from AJP Grand Slams, IBJJF Opens, and ADCC Open events.

BJJ Coach / Active Competitor
Fierce active competitor currently training at the famous Los Banditos Club in London. Major titles include the 2025 ADCC UK Open Gold and Abu Dhabi Pro Gold. He built his foundation over a decade under the VN Team banner, proudly carrying on the family's Rolls Gracie, Checkmat, and De La Riva roots.

Parents, friends, and family are always welcome to watch sessions. We have a dedicated seating area where you can comfortably observe the training and experience the atmosphere.

Fast-track your progress, fix leaks in your game, or train around a busy schedule. Can't make evening classes because of shift work? Message us to arrange a dedicated 1-on-1 session during the morning or daytime that perfectly fits your routine.
